I know it can be challenging to accept help and be ready to confront the issues that life has thrown your way. It is my goal to provide you with a safe and accepting space to show up as you are so that we can “dig through the weeds” together and make the changes that allow you to live a more fulfilling life. I work with a wide range of issues including trauma, grief, mood disorders, and neurodivergence utilizing an eclectic array of modalities including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and polyvagal theory. I work to help people identify the experiences and beliefs that are holding them back and increase tools to have healthy boundaries, effective relationships, and find a values-driven, meaningful purpose as you move forward in life. I have experience working with adult populations involved in the justice system, LGBTQIA+, and multicultural or faith backgrounds. It is my honor to walk alongside you in your journey and support you through your wellness goals.

Population: children ages 5+ and adults

I care deeply about helping people through the human experience - whether that’s anxiety, daily stress, or working towards inner healing and growth. I often work with people who struggle with overthinking, self-doubt, or a harsh inner voice, and I genuinely love helping them build more self-compassion, confidence, and finding more inner peace in their lives. My goal is to meet you where you’re at, always without judgment, and walk with you as you figure out what healing and growth look like for you. I work with individuals of all ages - kids, teens, adults - who are trying to make sense of who they are, what they want, or how to feel a little more steady in day-to-day life. I know how overwhelming it can be when anxiety feels in control or when life keeps throwing curveballs your way. In therapy, we will work together to understand how your mind works, build effective tools, and help you feel confident in yourself as you walk through life. I do my best to create a space that feels real, supportive, and collaborative. I want therapy to feel like a safe place where you can be vulnerable without judgment—a space that gives you room to reflect, grow, and feel inspired. Whether you're hoping to quiet anxious thoughts, get unstuck from unwanted habits, or just feel more like yourself, I’ll be here to support you every step of the way.

Helping people believe in themselves is my passion and what we will work on together. Whether you struggle with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma or substance abuse, lack of belief and trust in yourself makes these issues hard to overcome. Together we will navigate the challenges you face, shifting negative thinking patterns into positive ones and developing coping skills like distress tolerance and acceptance that you can use throughout your lifetime. We will tackle your issues with an arsenal of approaches and strategies from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy and EMDR. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I have worked in mental health, both inpatient and outpatient settings for over 15 years. My experience is with adults and adolescents. Outside of mental health I am a dancer (jazz, tap, Hip hop), a singer and a figure skater. In the summer you can often find me with my husband in our glamping camper, otherwise known as my “happy place”. I am committed to helping you get your life back on track. Are you ready? Let’s get started!

Kelly Borland, LPCC

She/Her
Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate

Insurance: Kaiser, United, UMR/Optum, Aetna, Cigna, Anthem/BCBS + Medicaid insurance

Population: Teenagers 14+, adults and couples

Specialties: Trauma, EMDR, Couples

Hi, I'm Kelly! I have a deep belief in the capacity for people to change, improve their lives, circumstances, and choices, and to create a new start for themselves and their families. I understand the challenges and traumas faced by first responders and law enforcement members and care deeply for supporting their healing and resiliency. As a trauma focused therapist, I know the experiences that individuals face in childhood, and the family system that they grow up in, play a significant role in their development, self concept coping skills, life path, and relationships. I aim to help my clients understand how their experiences impact their beliefs, thoughts, and feelings. I work with them to develop tools to reduce distress and disruption to their lives and functioning. I utilize a variety of techniques, including EMDR, trauma- focused CBT, DBT, Gottman Method, Motivational Interviewing, and Attachment Theory. I understand many of the barriers, hesitations, and anxieties people face entering counseling services, so I am intentional about creating a relaxed, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. I look forward to working alongside my clients to empower them to make positive changes in their lives.

Zamira Khan, LPCC

She/Her
Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate

Insurance: Kaiser, United, Aetna, Cigna + Medicaid, Anthem/BCBS

Population: Teenagers 15+, adults and couples

Specialties: PTSD/trauma, life transitions, relationship issues

Hi, my name is Zamira! I grew up in Colorado, consider myself an animal lover, love live music and baking! I am currently seeing individuals and couples, ages 15 and up. I have experience with anxiety disorders, life transitions, co-dependency in relationships, trauma and women’s issues. I want to help clients understand their emotions and unconscious patterns of behavior. By talking through these emotions and behaviors you can come to know yourself better and make better decisions for yourself. I use a person-centered approach to therapy which ensures that your needs are met and gives you control over our sessions. This provides you with a safe space to become more self-aware and find solutions. You can expect a collaborative process where respect, honesty and empathy are the foundation. While the therapeutic process is hard, you can also expect some balance with some light heartedness as well. I primarily use cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to address unhealthy thoughts and behaviors as well as DBT to help regulate and cope with emotions. I believe that in order to make meaning of your present beliefs and patterns we must examine and understand your past. I strive to empower you by teaching coping skill to help you deal with the stressors you may face in day-to-day life. I believe that your thoughts and attitudes can impact your feelings and actions. If you are looking for a safe and non-judgmental space to learn more about yourself and explore reoccurring patterns, please reach out. I can’t wait to meet you!

"I've been lucky enough to be doing therapy with Neave for the last 6 months. I've been undergoing EMDR treatment and that has been extremely helpful with the healing process and moving forward. Neave has been a joy to work with and I've enjoyed getting to know her as I've worked through some difficult issues and started on my path towards healing and a happier next chapter."

"Kasandra is an amazing therapist who has helped me though one of the toughest times in my life. I appreciate her kindness and candor when it comes to uncomfortable situations. We have had many great breakthroughs and she has helped me identify trauma and has given me skills to work through some deep-seeded issues. I feel have made great strides with her and I look forward to our sessions. I also attended a DBT group with another therapist and had an amazing experience. I would highly recommend this sensitive, knowledgeable and effective therapy group."

"Before I met Katie, I was really struggling but hesitant about going to therapy. Katie was endlessly patient and kind; she gave me the tools I needed to get past mental blocks and unpack trauma that was inhibiting my emotional growth. Thanks to her, I have made significant progress and feel better than ever. I can’t recommend her enough!"
